Fetch as Google Content Shows a More Limited Page Size than Web Search
Fetch as Google is limited to a couple of hundred KBs, which is lower than the amount accepted by Web search.
Header Tag Nesting is Irrelevant
Google doesn’t care abour ordering and nesting header tags. e.g. H2 after an H1.
Backlinks are reported in Search Console on the canonical domains
If you canonicalise domain variants (www/non-www/http/https), all of the backlinks will be reported in Search Console under the canonical domain.
Google Chooses HTTP if the HTTPS contains Insecure Content
If Google finds insecure content on the HTTPS version of a URL, it is more likely to choose HTTP as the canonical version.
Google Stores Unrendered and Rendered Content
John suggests that Google is storing the content for both unrendered and rendered content separately, and both versions could be used for matching against different language search queries.
Search Console Ranking Includes Personalised Searches
The rankings reported in Search Console include results for personalised search.
Downloads can be Flagged as Deceptive Content
If your download links lead to a different type of download, which might install toolbars or other types of content for example, it might be flagged as deceptive.
